Altree companies rank twice in " POWER 50 "

Altree Financial Group (Licensed to conduct Investment Business by the Bermuda Monetary Authority) is pleased to report that 2 of its Africa-focused companies have been awarded positions in the recently released Power 50 - issued by Africa Fund Manager Magazine. This list a compilation of the most influential fund houses, investors and service providers in the Africa fund space. Jenni Chamberlain, CEO of Altree Capital, and manager of the Africa Opportunities Fund, which was "Africa ex-South Africa Fund of the Year" in 2011, was noted as an expert on the continent's capital markets.

Mike Barnes, Managing Director of Securities Africa, which is owned by Altree Financial Group, was cited as one of the continent's leading brokers, running the only full service institutional pan-African trading platfrom. Securities Africa is also in the news recently as they are hosting their 7th annual African Securities conference in London next week, and are cited to release at that event a number of announcements relating to strategic initiatives and acquisitions in the African capital markets space.
